Les Misérables is a powerful tale that has captured audiences worldwide with its profound themes of love, sacrifice, and redemption, intertwining the lives of its characters in a narrative that resonates deeply with the human experience. The story, originally penned by Victor Hugo in the 19th century, explores the struggles of individuals against the backdrop of social injustice and moral dilemmas, making it a timeless classic. In Scotland, one amateur group, The Lyric Club, took on the monumental task of bringing this epic story to life under the bright lights of the Kings Theatre, a venue renowned for its rich history and vibrant performances.
I am immensely grateful to MHScotland for this amazing opportunity, which enabled us to connect with such a significant piece of theatre. A special thanks goes out to Ash.
